I love working with people. I started out in Human Resource & Event Management. It was while working in corporate America that I decided I wanted to explore an alternative and more holistic approach to people and life management. After discovering Reiki on my return from the States, it very quickly grew from an interest to a passion.
I spent many years working with musicians (as Tour Manager for Bat for Lashes) both on the road and at home, using Reiki as a tool to help with stress, focus and performance.
Through my years of teaching, therapeutic, and personal practice with Reiki, I am amazed by the potential it can offer to all kinds of people at different stages in their life journeys, gently opening up seemingly unlimited possibilities for personal healing and growth.
My son was the inspiration behind Reiki Rascals, as I found Reiki to be an invaluable tool for early motherhood. I wanted to empower families and individuals through pregnancy, birth and beyond, introducing them to holistic techniques and ideas for everyday life. I'm passionate about teaching children to learn to embrace their natural openness and harness their energy in a positive and constructive manner.
My first book, Finding Ray's Key with accompanying in-school workshops, has helped support my mission to bring a holistic approach to wellbeing to children and their parents and carers, in schools as well as at home.
I live and work in beautiful Devon, where I founded Devon School of Reiki and Devon School of Wellbeing. Here I teach Reiki and Mindfulness, and offer holistic workshops and retreats, as well as private one-to-one healing and life-guidance sessions.
